Why At Ease HQ Was Created

At Ease HQ Foundation was created to combat veteran suicide, raise PTSD awareness, and ensure no service member or veteran struggles alone.

Many veterans face invisible battles during and after military service, often feeling isolated, misunderstood, or disconnected from the support they need.

At Ease HQ exists to bridge that gap by providing a safe, supportive community where Active Duty, Veterans, National Guard, and Reserve members can connect, heal, access resources, and build a meaningful life beyond the uniform.

Building Community

Creating a supportive space where veterans, spouses, and families can connect, share experiences, and support one another.

Why Veterans Trust Me

As a Non-Commissioned Officer, I made it my priority to ensure the soldiers I led felt valued, supported, and understood. Leadership was never about rank; it was about building trust, developing people, and helping others overcome challenges.

Like many veterans, I experienced my own struggles with PTSD, transition, purpose, and finding my place after the military. Those experiences showed me how easily service members and veterans can feel isolated, misunderstood, or forgotten.

That is why I created At Ease HQ.

The Mission:

raise PTSD awareness

prevent veteran suicide

provide a safe, supportive community

We believe no one should have to face life's challenges alone.

Beyond advocacy and peer support, we help veterans navigate disability benefits, educational opportunities, career development, entrepreneurship, and other resources that can improve their quality of life.

Everything we do is built on three core values:

Integrity – Providing honest, transparent guidance.
Experience – Understanding the journey because we've lived it.
Service – Putting people before profit.

I do not charge veterans for the education, mentorship, or guidance provided through At Ease HQ.

My goal is simple: remove barriers, provide support, and help fellow service members and veterans find hope, purpose, and direction.

The same leadership principles I learned as a Paratrooper, Jumpmaster, and NCO—putting people first and leading by example—continue to guide this mission today.

This is more than an organization.

It's a commitment to ensuring that no veteran fights their battles alone.

Veterans helping veterans.

Veterans We Are Helping

Veterans who connect with At Ease HQ often share how community, mentorship, and guidance helped them navigate after service

As a veteran, dealing with the VA disability process can be frustrating and confusing if you try to do it on your own. I’m grateful I was connected with Henry because he really helped guide me through everything. From the beginning he took the time to explain the process, answer my questions, and make sure I understood what steps needed to be taken.

If you’re a veteran trying to navigate the VA disability system and need someone knowledgeable and reliable in your corner, I definitely recommend working with Henry. Having the right person helping you makes a big difference.

Being a part of At Ease HQ showed me the range of support within the Veteran community needed. There are Active Duty members getting ready to discharge trying to plan their transition which comes with it's own set of needs, to Military Veterans whose wounds - mental and physical - begin to manifest in later age; who know little to nothing of the support they can receive. At Ease HQ aims to bridge that Gap for all Military Veterans and their families.

The semicolon represents the pause in our story- much like deployments in our lives. IGY6 means "I Got Your Six" a reminder that veterans always watch each other's back. The red 6 honors the brothers and sisters we have lost.
