Why This Podcast Exist

The At Ease HQ Podcast was created to give all veterans a place to talk about their experiences in and after the military.

Every veteran’s journey is different.

Some served in combat.

Some served in support roles.

Some led soldiers.

Some supported the mission behind the scenes.

But when the uniform comes off, many of us face the same questions:

Who am I now?

What’s my purpose?

Where do I go from here?

This podcast is a place where veterans can share their story, connect with others, and remind each other that no one has to navigate the transition alone.

Army Veteran | Paratrooper | Founder of At Ease HQ

Henry served as a Paratrooper in 1-501 Infantry, 4th Brigade 25th Infantry Division in Alaska, and later with 2nd Brigade of the 82nd Airborne Division.

He eventually served at USARPAC in Hawaii, working in Future Operations where he coordinated with leaders across the Indo-Pacific theater.

Throughout his career as a Non-Commissioned Officer and Jumpmaster, Henry focused on one thing above all else — taking care of soldiers.

He spent much of his time mentoring soldiers, ensuring they knew they were valued, appreciated, and never alone in the challenges they faced.

That same leadership philosophy continues today through At Ease HQ, a community dedicated to helping veterans navigate transition, benefits, mental health, and purpose after service.

The podcast is simply another extension of that mission.
